2025 Paoli Art in the Park Artist Application

FAIR INFORMATION:

Location:  6901 Paoli Rd., Paoli, WI
Registration: 12 – 7 pm Friday, 6 – 8 am Saturday

Please read this information in its entirety. Artists applying are responsible for the information contained herein.

Policies/Eligibility:

  • The fair is open to all artists eighteen (18) years of age and older.
  • Artists must be present in their booth during the fair.
  • Artists are to exhibit both days and must not break down booths until the published end time of the fair daily.
  • All art exhibited must be hand-made, original, high-quality artwork (of the quality that the artist was juried in with), not the work of mass production studios, commercial kits or molds, purchased or prefabricated pieces.
  • Only the type of art represented in jury images may be sold.
  • Only finished work may be sold, not kits.
  • The art fair committee reserves the right to refuse exhibition of work not consistent with submitted images and these guidelines.
  • Artists are responsible for cleaning up their booth and surrounding area daily, including zip ties. Trash bags will be provided.
  • Each artist is responsible for collection and payment of their own sales tax.
  • Artists should not play music in their booths during the fair unless they are selling a piece of art that makes music.
  • Artists are NOT allowed to bring pets during set up or the fair unless they are accredited service animals.  You must contact us in advance if you wish to bring a service animal.
  • If these policies are not followed, you will be asked to leave. No refunds, no exceptions.

Booth:

10’ x 10’, double and triple booth spaces with additional space for storage are available. All booths are required to have appropriate weights applied to canopy (minimum 40 pounds per leg, attached to the leg or frame of booth.) Booths must be white/tan/light colored. You must keep all your displays and artwork within your booth space, other than items displayed on an outside wall and awnings.

Fair Services:

  • Extensive publicity and advertising.
  • Friday unload and set-up beginning at 9 a.m.  Saturday morning unload and set-up must be completed by 8 a.m.
  • Special parking for trailers and artists.
  • Artists have the option of having a photo, artist tagline, contact information and a link to the artist’s website and/or Facebook page listed on the fair webpage and Facebook page.
  • Water provided to artists throughout the fair.
  • Five feet of shared storage space behind each booth.
  • Coffee and snacks will be provided to artists at the registration shelter.
  • Security personnel are on duty during Friday and Saturday night. Artists may leave display materials on-site at their own risk, but leaving art is not recommended.
  • Booth sitting services provided for 10 to 15-minute breaks, subject to availability.

Jury Notes:

  • The jury process includes two rounds. Scoring is 1 (low) to 4 (high). Scoring is based on originality and creativity, design, technique, artisanship, and production methodology.
  • The first-round highest numbers are invited, the lowest numbers are juried out, and the midrange numbers are juried a second time to form a waitlist. Images are viewed one at a time. Position on waitlist is not released.

Jury Photos:

  • Blind jury processNothing which would identify artist such as studio/artist name should be included in photos or the description of your work/artist statement. You may blur out studio/artist name on your booth photo, if needed. Do not include a watermark with studio or artist name on the photo.
  • No people should be included in photos.
  • Feature only one item or set in each image, other than booth image.
  • If you are jurying for more than 1 medium, provide 4 additional photos for the second medium.
  • Images will be used for social media and possibly advertising.
  • Images should be between 1024 to 2048 pixels on the longest edge. Each image should be in .jpg format.
  • Label images as follows: last name first name-booth.jpg, last name first name-medium-jury image 1.jpg, last name first name-medium-jury image 2.jpg, last name first name-medium-jury image 3.jpg, last name first name-medium-jury image 4.jpg. You must submit 4 photos for EACH medium. 
  • Failure to follow these guidelines may result in exclusion from the jury process.

Entry Fees and Deadlines:

$20 jury fee for first medium 
$20 jury fee for second medium

If you are not a juried member of SWAG by 4/30/25, you will be responsible to pay the nonrefundable jury fee. Juried members will be provided a code to use so the jury fee is waived.

$150 booth fee single booth**
$300 booth fee double booth** 
$450 booth fee triple booth**

$20 additional for guaranteed corner booth or a booth with one outside display wall**

**Booth fees will be requested following acceptance into Paoli Art in the Park. Booth fees are non-refundable after the artist has paid.

No applications accepted after April 30, 2025.
